Set in just over an acre, we have created a small site with individual pitches carved into the gently sloping land. Each of our 4 all-weather pitches with optional electric hook up and room to park vehicles along side, are spaced out around the edges of the site. Using re-cycled tarmac chippings mixed with top soil and planted with grass, they are suitable for tents, campervans and trailer tents. A grass terrace running along the bottom of the site accommodates a further 3 level grass pitches for tents only without electric. The middle of the site (a gentle sloping grassed area) has been left empty to create a feeling of space and and for children to play.
We are especially proud of Tawny - our hand crafted Shepherd's Hut. Fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy camping but with a twist of luxury! With its own covered kitchen including a gas hob and running water, Tawny accommodates up to 4. A private patio area includes one of our Dancook 9000 fire pits with garden furniture.
On site facilities include hot showers and toilets, baby changing facility, chemical waste disposal, drinking water, washing-up area, fridges & freezers, re-charging points, re-cycling bins and free wifi. We have more Dancook 9000 fire pits available for hire, with logs and charcoal to buy but are happy for campers to bring their own. We also offer a 'wash & dry' laundry service. Point Farm is a dog friendly site (although we don't allow dogs in the Hut).
Please note we cannot accept towing caravans. Campervans and motorhomes are limited to 6m length and tents are limited to 6-berth.
Point Farm Campsite is a family run campsite and home to Nia and Fil Marshall, their two children and Nia’s father John.
Living by the sea, we spend any free time on the water, in the water, on the beach or socialising on the 'wall' in Dale. We love being part of such a wonderful community!
Point Farm dates back to the 1720s although it has not been a working farm since the 1960s.
It is a prominent landmark, sitting above Dale with panoramic views from as far as St David’s to the Preseli hills, up the Milford Haven waterway and across to Angle.
We opened in 2015 and have worked hard to incorporate the campsite as sympathetically as possible into the beautiful natural landscape, surrounded by farmland and adjoining ancient woodland. Planted with wild hedgerow, the pitches are well spaced out to provide privacy for our campers with wildflower boundaries between pitches. Each season we make improvements to the site, adding facilities to ensure we offer our campers the best possible experience.
We aim to help our campers connect back with nature. We encourage campers to learn about the biodiversity around the site with bird boxes and identity cards, wildlife books to borrow and sharing our own knowledge of the local environment. On our doorstep you can explore the seashore, local woodland, ancient landmarks including an iron age fort and of course the wonders of Skomer island.
In 2015 we became one of the first campsites in Wales to be awarded the Green Key environmental standard award in recognition of our approach to environmental management and our green credentials.
We continue to celebrate our achievements, including being selected as Finalists in the

“Great Little Campsite - The toilet & shower block were very clean and tidy...Fil & Nia were super friendly. We hired a fire pit for 4 nights which was great and reasonably priced Fil gave us so much fire wood we struggled to burn it all. ”
“Fantastic Campsite - We stayed here for 5 nights in August and loved the campsite - just as other reviewers have said, quiet, small and very clean, very high standard wash facilities which were always available when needed. A wonderful location and a very friendly welcome from the owners. Other campers were also very friendly and respectful - always quiet at night and our son enjoyed making friends with other children. Thank you!”
“Lovely, Lovely, Lovely - Our pitch was a large all-weather pitch - large enough for not only our tent, but a table and chairs. We also hired a bbq firepit for the Friday night, which was reasonably priced and came with charcoal, wood and kindling. The owners were very friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. ”
